Arsenal has Jesus back, Ødegaard still doubtful

Arsenal may have both key players Gabriel Jesus and Martin Ødegaard available again. The two missed their club's last two league matches due to injuries. Jesus is definitely available for Saturday, but there is still some doubt about captain Ødegaard. Arsenal plays away at Brentford.

According to manager Mikel Arteta, both players have fully participated in training leading up to the Premier League match. "We also trained again today and it went well. Ødegaard is making good progress and I therefore hope that he is fit in time. Jesus will definitely be there," said the Spaniard.

The Brazilian also played on Wednesday for his country in the lost World Cup qualifying match against Argentina.

Arsenal could theoretically take the top spot in England this weekend. For that to happen, the Londoners need to win against Brentford. Manchester City and Liverpool, who face each other early Saturday afternoon, would then have to draw. City is at the top with 28 points, while Liverpool and Arsenal both follow with 27 points.
