The São Paulo court has initiated an investigation into alleged abuse involving Manchester United forward Antony. The Brazilian is suspected of using violence against his former partner, Gabriela Cavallin.
Brazilian UOL has obtained photos, videos, and WhatsApp conversations that indicate 'threats, intimidation, and physical aggression' from Antony towards Gabriela Cavallin, his former partner.
The media outlet reached out to Cavallin, who shared her side of the story and filed a second complaint against the winger with the Manchester police last Friday.
In one of the unpublished videos, Cavallin's finger joints are said to be visible due to Antony's aggression. Antony himself has chosen not to comment on the matter, and Manchester United has not taken any preventive measures yet. Cavallin reveals that on July 1, 2022, shortly after becoming pregnant with the former Ajax forward, she was physically attacked for the first time.
Antony allegedly threatened to throw Cavallin out of the car while driving at high speed. According to Cavallin, Antony's aggression stems from jealousy. "I told him I was pregnant. He said that if I didn't stay with him, he, I, and our son would die." The next day, Antony messaged her on WhatsApp that he was planning to disappear. After sixteen weeks of pregnancy, Cavallin lost her baby, having spent most of her pregnancy in the hospital.
