It has been raining for days in Saarbrücken, and as a result, the field is currently unplayable. Therefore, the match against Dynamo Dresden has already been canceled, and it is uncertain whether the game against Bayern can be played on Wednesday.

"It doesn’t have much to do with football; it's not even a football match anymore. You can pretty much forget it," said coach Rüdiger Ziehl.

The field in Saarbrücken will be examined by experts on Monday. The big question is whether the water will have receded in time for the clash with Bayern. It is not expected that the match will be canceled as early as Monday.

Bayern president Herbert Hainer is counting on it going ahead. "I assume that the people from Saarbrücken are doing everything they can to let the match proceed."
