'Inter prepares for Onana's departure and scouts La Liga.'

Will André Onana's stay at Internazionale be limited to one season? Reportedly, Chelsea and Manchester United have shown serious interest in the 27-year-old goalkeeper. If a transfer materializes, Inter appears to be turning to Valencia for a replacement.

Onana made a strong impression at Inter last season, which caught the interest of Premier League giants. His price tag is quite significant. Clubs looking to acquire the former Ajax goalkeeper will need to cough up sixty million euros. However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter might find it difficult to turn down a "decent offer" of around fifty million euros.

If a club meets that amount, Inter will need to act swiftly. The Champions League finalist appears to be preparing for such a scenario. Initially, Inter looked within Italy, but Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario seems to be heading to Tottenham Hotspur. This means that Giorgio Mamardashvili is now being considered.

Mamardashvili

The 22-year-old Mamardashvili narrowly avoided relegation with Valencia in La Liga but personally had a stellar season. The former competitor of Jasper Cillessen is expected to cost around 25 million euros, half of what Inter hopes to receive for Onana. However, Mamardashvili is not the only candidate in the blue-black part of Milan.

The alternative is Yann Sommer. After the return of Manuel Neuer, who is coming back from a long-term injury, the Swiss goalkeeper is not keen on warming the bench at Bayern Munich.
