King of La Liga: Bellingham starts better than Ronaldo

Jude Bellingham gives the term flying start a new dimension with his initial period at Real Madrid. The English midfielder was once again important for the Royals on Saturday by scoring the first two goals against Osasuna. With a start that is better than that of Cristiano Ronaldo, it is nothing more than logical that Bellingham dominates the covers of the Spanish sports newspapers.

In the current football era, Ronaldo must be looked at when it comes to goal records in service of Real Madrid. The Portuguese striker shattered nearly every record between 2009 and 2018, but began his career at Real Madrid with 'only' seven goals in his first eight league matches.

Bellingham is already at eight goals after his first eight matches in La Liga and also provided two assists. 'King of La Liga' is thus AS's huge headline on its front page. Marca even calls the English midfielder, who came over from Borussia Dortmund this summer for just over one hundred million euros, the sensation of Spanish football. The sports newspaper also includes the two goals that Bellingham scored in the Champions League against Union Berlin and Napoli.

Partly thanks to Bellingham's goals, Real Madrid is firmly in the lead in La Liga. The gap with number two Girona is two points, the lead on rival Barcelona is four points. The Catalans are still to play against Granada on Sunday.
