Fabinho played an impressive five seasons at Anfield and is described by Liverpool as 'highly successful.' 'We naturally wish him all the best. Fab was a long-time certainty we had in midfield.

He provided us with all that freedom, while also enjoying playing as a "vacuum cleaner" to do the dirty work for the team. He was fantastic.'

'And yes, we will miss Fab, but Fab will be fine, we will be fine, and we will always be grateful to each other. That is very important to me in life. So, all the best, my friend, and I hope to see you soon.'

The 29-year-old Fabinho made the move from AS Monaco to Liverpool in 2018 for €45 million. In England, he won seven titles, including the Champions League and the Premier League.
