Hedwiges Maduro is taking the future as it comes. In the short term, he will find out what Ajax has in store for him.
Maduro was asked by Ajax to temporarily take over after the dismissal of Maurice Steijn. It is expected that he will soon make way for John van 't Schip, who is in talks with Ajax about the head coach position.
He will definitely join Ajax starting from November 1st because he was initially set to be part of the technical staff.
'Those discussions are yet to happen,' says Maduro about his future. 'I still don't know anything and I'm focused on PSV. We'll see what happens next. As long as I don't hear anything, I'm focused on the matches. I'm here to help Ajax, and I'll find out when the time comes.'
Ajax will first have discussions with Maduro, and then he will talk to Van 't Schip. There is no information available yet regarding Van 't Schip's coaching staff.
