A first bid for Maguire was rejected, but the clubs have now reached an agreement on the transfer fee, which is said to be 35 million euros. Several English media outlets, including Sky Sports, The Athletic, and the BBC, report on the impending transfer. Maguire still needs to come to terms with his new club regarding personal terms, but that is likely not to pose any issues since he is eager to make the move.

Manchester United paid a hefty 90 million euros for Maguire in 2019. However, it didn't turn out to be a success story. Due to Maguire's inconsistent performances and (clumsy) mistakes at crucial moments, he often became the target of ridicule. Nevertheless, the managers at Manchester United continued to have faith in him, but Maguire never managed to overcome the skepticism.

Ward-Prowse
West Ham United is also on the verge of adding James Ward-Prowse to their squad. The Athletic writes that the midfielder from Southampton, who came through the club's youth system, is making the move to London for 35 million euros.
