The popular series Los Protectores is currently in its second season, and the director has managed to secure a spectacular guest player. Messi takes on a role in the first episode of the new season. The series revolves around footballers and their agents. In the show, he portrays himself in a scene with three player agents.
Messi participates in a humorous five-minute scene where the agents propose a peculiar idea. They hope that during his vacation, Messi will wear a different shirt from an Argentine club every day for promotional purposes. The expression on the forward's face says it all: he finds this proposal quite inappropriate.
"You seem very poorly educated," he berates one of the agents. "How can you propose something like this to me? That's not something you suggest, is it? You told me we would discuss players' issues. Are you kidding me? What am I doing here? I don't get involved in these kinds of things." If things don't work out at Inter Miami, Messi at least has a plan B.
