Napoli has reached an agreement with Victor Osimhen on a new contract. The striker was the subject of genuine interest from Al-Hilal, which also made multiple bids, but he remains loyal to the champion.
This was reported by Sky Sport in Italy. Al-Hilal reportedly made two bids for Osimhen, both of which were rejected by Napoli. In the background, the club was focused on extending Osimhen's contract, which has been extended until 2026.
He will earn more than ten million euros per season. Osimhen's contract includes a release clause of 150 million euros, which applies to foreign clubs from 2024 and Italian clubs from 2025.
Napoli acquired Osimhen in the summer of 2020 for 75 million euros from Lille. He immediately made an impact at the Italian champion. In Osimhen's first year, he scored ten times, then fourteen times, and last year he scored 26 times. His previous contract was set to run until 2025.
