Perez sees a positive at PSV and issues a warning for the CL match against RC Lens

PSV secured their largest away victory in over five years on Saturday. The ten men of Heracles Almelo were unable to put up a fight against the Eredivisie leaders and suffered a heavy defeat (0-6). Kenneth Perez praised the team spirit of the visitors.

The mid-term report for PSV is excellent. After eleven matches, the Eindhoven team hasn’t dropped a crumb. With 41 goals, PSV is also on target. Not since this century has the club had so many goals on the board in the first eleven Eredivisie matches. The last time they achieved this was in the championship season of 1999/00.

At Erve Asito, PSV had a big win against Heracles. Notably, the goals were scored by six different players. A positive aspect, concluded Kenneth Perez on ESPN. "They kept creating chances for each other. Not that they were shooting from everywhere, no, they kept making that pass when it needed to come. Also, someone like Pepi setting it up, I thought that was a plus for PSV."

Champions League Approaching

PSV faces the crucial Champions League match against RC Lens on Wednesday. According to Perez, that game will require a different intensity. "The level, the engagement, it was low today. That needs to be ramped up on Wednesday. Today was a no-contest. Quite perfunctory, dull for the neutral spectator. You do want some kind of tension."
